By using the Mountain Strategy platform or website, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

Account and registration data: When you create an account or request a demo, we collect your name, email address, phone number, company name, and billing information.

Platform usage data: We collect information about how you use the platform, including messages sent and received (metadata, not content unless required for compliance), delivery statistics, API requests, and campaign activity.

Message content: SMS, MMS, and RCS messages transmitted through the platform are processed to enable delivery. We do not read, analyze, or sell message content. Content is retained only as long as necessary for delivery and compliance purposes.

Log and technical data: We automatically collect IP addresses, browser type, device identifiers, and other technical information when you access our platform or website.

3. How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Mountain Strategy platform
• Process message delivery through carrier integrations
• Manage billing, invoicing, and account administration
• Respond to support requests and communicate with customers
• Monitor platform performance, detect fraud, and ensure security
• Comply with legal obligations, including A2P 10DLC registration and TCPA requirements
• Improve our services through aggregate, anonymized analytics

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only in the following circumstances:

• Carriers and aggregators: Message content and recipient data are transmitted to carriers and aggregators as necessary to deliver messages.
• The Campaign Registry (TCR): Brand and campaign registration information is submitted to TCR as required for A2P 10DLC compliance.
• Service providers: We share information with third-party vendors who assist in providing our services, subject to confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Mountain Strategy or others.
• Business transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the relevant parties.

5. Data Security

Mountain Strategy uses AES-256 encryption for data at rest and TLS 1.3 for data in transit. Our infrastructure is SOC 2 Type II audited. We implement access controls, monitoring, and security reviews to protect customer data.

6. Data Retention

We retain account data for the duration of your subscription and a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations. Message metadata is retained for up to 90 days by default. Message content is not retained beyond the delivery window unless required by law or specifically requested by the customer for compliance purposes.

7. Your Rights

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at robert@mountainstrategy.com. We will respond to verified requests within 30 days.

8. Cookies

Our website uses essential cookies necessary for site functionality. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies; some features may not function correctly as a result.

9. Children

Our services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.
